what about max?
ReplyDeleteNo Max. No Ruby, for that matter. And Douglas/Ace's chances are looking slim. He may be relagated to the glove box. (for those of you who don't know, Douglas/Ace is Kate's very small stuff animal labrador. Since he doesn't require a lot of stops for walks/water/food, his chances are better than not of making the trip.)
ReplyDeleteHowever, after all the Jones-esque skills in packing the car top carrier, we had to abort. Without a roof rack, we just couldn't trust it's system of securing it to the top of the Matrix for 2500 miles at 70 miles per hour. And we thought averaging 30-35 would not really be an option. So some pots and pans got thrown out for this trip. Mr. UPS will be delivering them later. But all Kate's clothes are assured of safe arrival! Phew!
